A very popular Chinese green tea mixed with jasmine petals. Authentically flavoured using the 'printing' method, whereby tea leaves are laid flat, alternate layers of jasmine flowers and tea are stacked until the flavour and fragrance of the jasmine are absorbed. The flowers are then removed and replaced with a fresh layer and gently mixed. Not too overpowering, this green tea is enjoyed by most and excellent for digestion, commonly served in Asian restaurants, however this particular blend is far superior.
Serving per cup: 1 teaspoon
Ideal water temp: 75-80C before boiling
Steep time: 1-2 mins (any longer and taste will be bitter)
Can be re-steeped
